Bali has its famous building restriction, which is every building must not exceed the height of coconut tree (15 meters) and all building must apply Balinese architectural element especially the roof crown and roof corner ornament. Exceeding expectation this guidelines bind all the diverse buildings, big and small, into completely integrated surroundings. Creating a very strong tropical island character.
This hotel was designed in a way that allowed traditional elements to prominently adapted to modern architecture. A clean modern with local natural finishes covered with earth tone understated colour has make an uncluttered ambience to emphasize the traditional element and accessories.
Commonly the vernacular approach is interconnected with the design concept of ecological, back to nature, green building. And so this hotel does. Welcomed by a double height wooden ceiling lobby with natural ventilation of a hillside breeze, flowing through a corridor to pool and open space coffeeshop, this hotel designed to be as energy efficient, low maintenance, and ecofriendly.
